If you are coming from Riga, choose the road A8 and P100. When you will arrive in Jelgava keep going straight and cross the bridge of Lielupe and on the right side of the road you will see Jelgava Palace. You can leave your car in the parking lot by the North gate of Jelgava Palace.
If you are using public transport then in order to come to Jelgava you will have to go through Riga. To arrive to Jelgava from Riga the most comfortable way for you will be either by bus or by train.
Train “Riga – Jelgava” departs from the Riga Central Railway Station every hour, time of journey –  50 minutes. In order to get from Jelgava train station to Jelgava palace take any of the city buses going in the direction of city centre and get out at the bus stop “Banka”. Then you can walk by foot to Lielā street and then to Jelgava palace.
Minibuses and buses “Riga – Jelgava” from Riga’s international bus station come to Jelgava about four times per hour; the drive takes about 55 minutes. Once you cross the Lielupe Bridge step out at the very next bus stop “Jelgavas pils”.
